Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of freight handling, commercial driving, and the operation of heavy equipment. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of our transportation operations.

Responsibilities

Safely operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed for loading and unloading tasks. Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles when necessary.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (AZ LIC ) is required 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE PAY 50 CENT TO 56 CENT PER MILE DEPEND EXPERIENCE . we have midwest dedicated work 3 rounds back to back no layover delivery $25 to 50 in case you have to deliver or pick up most of yard pickup plus miles . Experience in freight transportation and heavy equipment operation is preferred. Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus. Strong understanding of safety regulations related to driving and freight handling. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in automotive repair situations.
