Long-Term Care Assistant Opportunity
Temporary Full-Time 80 Hours - Aug 3, 2025 - March 31, 2025

If you are passionate about contributing to a positive, person-first community we currently have two temporary part-time postings for Long-Term Care Assistant.
Position Summary
:
The Long-term Care Assistant is responsible for assisting with the delivery of leisure/therapeutic recreation that enhance the quality of life for all Elders living at Hillside Pines.
Qualifications:
Have a keen interest in working with a senior population in long term care. Able to work as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated flexibility, creativity, and time management skills. Must have reliable transportation. Willing to learn and work independently when trained. Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathy; effective oral and written communication. Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, iPads, and any software or equipment aimed at enhancing the life of elders. Understanding and commitment to Hillside Pines' Mission, Vision, Values, and the Eden Alternative philosophy to provide quality care and service to Elders.
Hours of Work:
Includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet the wellbeing needs of Elders.
