Job Description

SCH Maintenance Services is committed to providing superior maintenance services for the Regina Bypass. We are responsible for all maintenance and snow removal of approximately 61 km of four-lane highway, 12 overpasses, 11 interchanges, and 37 KM of service road, ensuring we keep these roads safe for the traveling public. We are seeking winter Highway Maintenance Patroller/Operators.

Mandatory requirements:

MUST

have a 3A or 1A drivers license & clean driver abstract. Please note this on your resume.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Report to the shift supervisor on all duties being preformed
- Operate equipment in a safe & efficient manner
- Locate & identify hazards
- Provide traffic control at accident scenes
- Washing signs in the winter
- Repairing signs
- Litter & debris collection
- Complies with WHMIS, TDG, and OH&S regulations
- Participate in safe work practices, procedures, safety meetings & tailgates
- Regular inspection of equipment, perform preventative & general maintenance
- Review completed work, ensure appropriate documentation is completed

Additional Qualifications:

- 3A or 1A drivers license & clean driver abstract
- Able to complete physically demanding work
- Work outside in varying weather conditions
- SCH will supply hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, coveralls
- Must supply your own work boots
- Team player with strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills, open to suggestions & able to implement them
- Must have computer/smartphone technology knowledge
- Must have reliable transportation & residence within 30 KM of Regina
- This work is 7 days on, then 7 days off, then 7 nights on, then 7 days off with opportunities for overtime
