Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, freight handling, and adherence to safety regulations. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of service.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight and materials to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs, mileage, and fuel consumption. Collaborate with dispatchers and warehouse staff to coordinate schedules and routes. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including basic automotive repair as needed. Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely when required.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license. Minimum 2year manual transmission Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations. Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred. Knowledge of basic automotive repair is a plus. Forklift certification is desirable but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A commitment to safety and attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
