We are currently seeking a
reliable and dedicated Cafeteria Cook/Manager
to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our high school cafeteria. This is a
school-year position
running from
September to June
, with regular school hours (Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 1:30 PM). You will be
off during Pro-D days, winter break, spring break, and summer vacation
.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily cafeteria operations ensuring timely, high-quality service
Prepare hot breakfast items, baked goods, and lunch entrees
Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations
Handle daily cash transactions, including reconciliation and bank deposits
Conduct weekly inventory checks and place orders as needed
Submit monthly inventory reports to Head Office
Requirements:
Must be available all 5 weekdays (Mon-Fri)
Valid Food Safe Certificate
Work Permit
(if applicable)
Clear Criminal Record Check
Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 10 months
Pay: From $19.50 per hour
