Job Overview

I am seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Subject Tutor to work with high school student everyday Monday - Friday 4pm - 6pm. The ideal candidate will be university student with A average, she or he will be responsible for reviewing lessons, do traditional teaching using books, paper and pencil, help student study and how to do research on the computer without getting distracted. Teaching student to use time wisely and do homework and leaving in effective meaningful way. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners and contribute to their future success.

Responsibilities

Review lesson everyday. Help across various subjects Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects results. Provide tutoring and additional support to students who need help understanding material. Tell the student brutal truth about reality not sugar coat things.

Skills

Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents. Tutoring skills to provide additional academic support when necessary Organizational skills to manage lesson plans, assessments, and student progress.
This position is ideal for university student who is doing well in his or her studies (biomedical , chemistry or engineering or business or science major). Or another person who is qualified.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.29-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week

Work Location: In person
