EDvantage Educational Consulting and Tutoring is seeking enthusiastic and reliable
High School Tutors
to support students inGrades 9-12
forChemistry.
Must have teaching experience with at least two of the following courses - SNC2D, SCH3U, SCH4U.We are looking for candidates who can travel to Hamilton, Burlington and Oakvile for in-person appointments at client's homes.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring in Grades 9-12 Math Plan and deliver customized lessons that align with curriculum standards. Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to meet learning needs. Communicate with parents and students about academic development. Create a positive and motivating learning environment.
Requirements:
Experience tutoring or teaching high school students. Strong subject knowledge in at least two of the above courses Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Patient, adaptable, and supportive teaching approach. Teaching certification (OCT) or Tutoring experience is an asset. Ability to work in-person
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid
driver's license
