EDvantage Educational Consulting and Tutoring is seeking enthusiastic and reliable
High School Tutors
to support students inGrades 9-12
across key subjects:Math & English
We are looking for candidates who can travel within Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Milton & Georgetown for in-person appointments.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring in Grades 9-12 subjects. Support students in Math & English Plan and deliver customized lessons that align with curriculum standards. Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to meet learning needs. Communicate with parents and students about academic development. Create a positive and motivating learning environment.
Requirements:
Experience tutoring or teaching high school students. Strong subject knowledge in at least one core area: Math or English Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Patient, adaptable, and supportive teaching approach. Teaching certification (OCT) or classroom experience is an asset. Ability to work in-person and remote
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid
driver's license
and access to a vehicle. Located in or nearthe above mentioned areas
