Scholars of Edmonton South

is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic

Part-Time High School Teacher

to join our team. As a teacher at Scholars, you will have the opportunity to positively impact students, both academically and personally, by delivering high-quality instruction in a variety of subjects. You will be responsible for teaching students in subjects such as

Math, Science, English, Social Studies, and more

, depending on your qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will be trained on Scholars' unique teaching methodology.

Here's what we're looking for:

Alberta Teaching Certificate

is preferred. Previous experience teaching high school students is an asset. Ability to teach

Math

,

Science

,

English

, and other subjects relevant to the Alberta high school curriculum (up to Grade 12). A passion for teaching and helping students reach their full academic potential. Exceptionally organized, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt lessons to individual student needs. Ability to teach small groups (up to 3 students) and create a positive, supportive classroom environment. Strong knowledge of the Alberta high school curriculum for subjects such as

Mathematics

,

Physics

,

Chemistry

,

Biology

,

English Language Arts

, and

Social Studies

. Comfortable using technology to enhance learning and support student engagement.

Excellent English oral and written communication skills

.

Availability:

Candidates must be able to work a minimum of two shifts per week within our hours of operation below:

Monday - Thursday

: 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Saturday

: 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
