LONDON INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY IS A PRESTIGIOUS PRIVATE BOARDING HIGH SCHOOL IN LONDON, ONTARIO, CANADA OFFERING FULL ONTARIO HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA AND IB PROGRAM FOR POST SECONDARY EDUCATION SINCE 2002.

We are seeking highly responsible people who are passionate, self-motivated and reflective professionals to work as full time teachers at our sister school, Shenzhen New Vision Bilingual School in Shenzhen, China

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Undertake a designated program of teaching related subjects across all key stages, and be a role model for students, inspiring them to be actively interested in the subject.

Ensure the classroom is well-organized for purposeful activity throughout the day.

Implement and model high standards of work practice and review, critically reflecting, and evaluating one's own practice.

Show great individual care and support for the students, promoting learning styles that cater to individual differences.

Establish clear instructional objectives, utilizing core teaching resources and supplementary materials.

Assess and analyze student progress to inform instruction and provide constructive feedback to promote Students' progress.

Respect, appreciate and understand differences in learning and school culture.

Participate in a culture of professional learning.

Work cooperatively with fellow staff members and administrators. Be accountable and a positive advocate for all management decisions.

Contribute to afterschool activities on a regular basis.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Principal or Head of Department.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and related field with teaching experience.

Familiar with Secondary school curriculum desired but not required.

Strong interpersonal skills and strengths working in a team environment.

Excellent classroom management skills and proven ability to engage all learners.

Energetic, enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with ESL high school students.

Experience working with international students an asset.

Kind, caring and patient demeanor.

Benefits:

Annual salary with Housing allowance, insurance, return tickets based on one full year work.
