Founded in 2004, Rotman Arts and Science School (RASS), formerly Arts and Science Academy of Canada, was established to focus on breadth and depth of study across a variety of disciplines and offering unique opportunities for advanced courses and independent study.
Our goal is to create an innovative educational environment that inspires and provides our students with the knowledge, skills, and qualities that they need to thrive in the present-day world.
We are looking for a high school Math and Science Teacher who can join us in our mission.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Demonstrate a high level of creativity in content creation and delivery. Demonstrate a commitment to and documented success in working to create a fair, inclusive, anti-racist environment for all stakeholders, and to supporting diverse constituencies and populations. Be available for supply pool support five days a week. Experience working with Ontario Ministry of Education guidelines is an asset. Experience working with the Ontario Curriculum is an asset. An Ontario Teacher's Certificate would be considered an asset. Ontario Teaching Experience would be considered an asset Current police clearance required. French would be an asset
The location for these positions is in Vaughan, ON
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
