Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to support students in achieving their academic goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, strong communication skills, and experience working with tutoring. This role involves providing personalized instruction in various subjects, with a focus on math (Grades 9-12). The Tutor will play a vital role in fostering a positive learning environment and helping students build confidence in their abilities.
Responsibilities
Deliver one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs Assist students with understanding complex concepts in math (Functions, Advanced Functions, Calculus, Data Management) Monitor student progress Create a supportive and engaging classroom atmosphere Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student achievements
Requirements
Strong background in Math. Tutoring experience is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching approaches to diverse learning styles Passion for education and helping students succeed
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
