Job Description
Responsibilities
Deliver one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs Assist students with understanding core concepts in math, computer science, and other subjects Develop customized lesson plans and educational materials to enhance learning outcomes Support students with special education requirements by adapting teaching methods accordingly Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
Requirements
Must be very familiar with
Gr1-8 and Gr9-12 Ontario Math Curriculum
Havevery good patient and passion
to teach students Experience working with children in an educational or tutoring setting Strong knowledge of math, computer science, or related fields Classroom experience is preferred but not mandatory; a passion for teaching is essential Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning styles and needs Familiarity with educational software and computer tools used in tutoring sessions Prior experience in special education is a plus but not required Reliable, patient, and committed to supporting student growth and successJob Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 - 10 per week
Work Location: In person
