Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to support students in their academic journey. The ideal candidate will have the ability to engage and inspire students of various ages and learning abilities. This role involves providing personalized instruction in subjects such as Math, Bio and Chemistry while also adapting to the unique needs of each student, including those requiring special education support.
Duties
Provide small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs Assist students with homework, test preparation, and understanding complex concepts Develop lesson plans and educational materials that align with curriculum standards Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence
Skills
Experience working with children in an educational setting Tutoring experience, particularly in Math and Science Strong teaching skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly Ability to build rapport with students and create an engaging learning atmosphere
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 - 8 per week
Work Location: In person
