Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to support students in their academic journey. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a strong background in tutoring, particularly in subjects such as Math and Physics This role involves providing personalized instruction, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping students achieve their educational goals.

Duties

Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs. Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that align with curriculum standards. Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to enhance understanding and retention. Provide support in various subjects, with a focus on Math and Computer Science, while also addressing any special education needs. Maintain open communication with students, parents, and teachers to ensure a collaborative approach to learning. Utilize technology effectively during tutoring sessions to enhance the learning experience. Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation.

Qualifications

Proven experience working with children in an educational setting is essential. Previous tutoring or teaching experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of Math concepts and Computer Science principles. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. Excellent computer skills for utilizing educational software and online resources. Ability to create an engaging learning environment that accommodates diverse learning styles. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff members. Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
