Over the past 3 years, we've helped students not only raise their grades, but also rediscover their confidence, motivation, and love for learning.
We're now expanding our team of tutors in Victoria who share that same passion for teaching and connecting with students.
What You'll Do
Work one-on-one with high school and university students (both in-person in Victoria and online).
Adapt lessons to each student's learning style, strengths, and challenges.
Support students primarily in math and statistics, with opportunities to tutor other subjects if qualified.
Build strong relationships with students and, where appropriate, their parents through empathy, encouragement, and clear communication.
Share your enthusiasm for the subject.
Take part in our training program, which includes emotional intelligence and adaptive teaching techniques.
What We're Looking For
You don't have to be a professional teacher already, but you should be someone who lights up when helping others learn. The right candidates will:
Be genuinely passionate about their subject(s) and about teaching.
Naturally connect with students and make them feel comfortable.
Show patience, adaptability, and empathy.
Be reliable, professional, and consistent in scheduling.
Have some background or experience in tutoring/teaching (preferred but not required).
Have a strong academic background, especially in math or statistics (other subjects welcome).

Requirements
Based in Victoria, BC, or willing to tutor in-person in Victoria.
Access to reliable internet and a computer for online sessions.
Some university coursework.
Legally able to work in Canada.
