Job Summary

Kandrea is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual with Utilidoor and construction experience to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of utilidoors within various construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must possess

CSTS2020, WHMIS2015, Fall Protection, and H2S Alive, First Aid

and be able to pass a

Drug and Alcohol and Mask Fit Test as required.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Install and maintain utilidoors according to project specifications and safety standards. Collaborate with construction teams to ensure seamless integration of utilidoors into building designs. Conduct inspections and assessments of existing utilidoors to identify necessary repairs or upgrades. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation and maintenance tasks. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Document work completed, including any issues encountered or resolved during the process. Safety is everyone's responsibility and you are responsible to look out for yourself and those around you.

Skills

Proficiency in construction techniques related to utilidoor installation and maintenance. Insulation and Scaffolding considered an asset. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and project managers. Organization and time management skills Communication both verbally and written Prioritizing multiple demands on a project or work site Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship in all tasks performed. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.

Working Conditions

Lifting, bending, climbing Ability to be exposed to various types of work environments Use of various shop equipment and trade-related hand tools Use of ladders or scaffolding Working in confined spaces Working with WHMIS products and materials Use of specialized PPE such as respirators, coveralls and safety glasses
