To succeed at this position, you will need to support local and field users, in a highly visible role that has a positive impact on both the department and the company. Located in Waterloo, Ontario, the Help Desk Analyst opportunity is a long-term contract / temporary role.

Key responsibilities

- Provide IT assistance for operating systems, productivity software, and a variety of other software applications used internally

- Resolve technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups

- Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues

- Troubleshoot recurring technical issues and suggest solutions to address the root of the problems

Requirements

- Understanding of basic networking concepts

- Command of SAP

- Strong familiarity with Order to cash

- Comprehensive knowledge of EDI Transaction

- Experience installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications

- Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

- Experience in user administration and bug fixing in a client server environment

- Experience with IT support ticketing systems
