  • Hands on management of the current selling and booking seasons
  • Execute sales and GM strategies and tactics to achieve seasonal Booking targets and annual sales goals
  • 5 year strategic planning
  • Development and implementation of sales policies and procedures
RESPONSIBILITY/AUTHORITY:
  • Sales Goals
  • Establish and manage seasonal Rep and Key Account sales targets
  • Execute seasonal customer/channel and/or product initiatives
  • In season tracking of Booking results versus goals
  • Distribution Strategies
  • Determine Segmentation strategy in line with strategic plan
  • Determine and authorize all distribution decisions
  • Implementation and execution of distribution strategies with reps.
  • Sales Planning
  • Develop country seasonal Go To Market plans
  • Develop and execute sales programs and processes to maximize sales objectives and opportunities
  • Determine and manage in-season sales programs to maximize inventory and achieve sales targets
  • Determine Sales Meeting objectives, schedules and agendas
  • Customer Management
  • Develop, maintain and manage key account customer relationships
  • Ensure that the sales organization executes the selling terms and policies
  • Ensure alignment of account assortments with segmentation goals
  • Territory Management
  • Develop seasonal sales plans and tactics for each Territory
  • Define sales territories and distribution strategies.
  • Manage Rep force to carry out any and all sales / distribution objectives
  • Hire, train and manage Reps
  • Manage annual Rep review and Sales contracts
  • Inventory Management
  • Feedback into development of seasonal forecasts by product and category
  • Support the monthly Buy process
  • Evaluate product performance and implement inventory reduction plans
  • Marketing
  • Coordinate key account marketing plans with Marketing
  • Oversee Rep execution of seasonal marketing initiatives at retail
  • Determine Trade Show attendance and coordinate with marketing as needed.

  • Develop and manage annual sales budget
  • Contribute to seasonal pricing strategy

  • Travel throughout the year to various trade shows, sales meetings, territory Rep visits, Prelines and special events.

  • Five years sales and marketing management experience with three to five years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate enthusiasm, knowledge and use of the products.
  • Proficiency in French would be an asset
COMPUTER SKILLS:
  • Demonstrated operating knowledge of computers. Intermediate level ability with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and other required software programs.
