What We're Looking For:



We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering/Event Sales Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving catering and event sales, managing client relationships, and executing flawless events that exceed our guests' expectations. This role presents an exciting opportunity to showcase your sales acumen, creativity, and passion for hospitality in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.



What You Will Be Doing:



Develop and implement strategies to drive catering and event sales, including identifying target markets, cultivating leads, and converting inquiries into bookings. Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, event coordinators, and other key stakeholders to generate repeat business and referrals. Collaborate closely with our culinary and operations teams to design customized menus and event experiences tailored to clients' preferences and budgetary requirements. Manage the end-to-end catering process, from initial consultation to coordinating logistics, staffing, and on-site execution. Ensure exceptional service delivery throughout the event, anticipating and promptly resolving any issues or concerns to ensure guest satisfaction. Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals, regularly tracking performance metrics and providing reports to senior management. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for innovation and growth. Maintain effective call reporting and sales tracking. Organize, manage, and train BOH staff for events. Communicate clearly with internal teams to seamlessly transition all bookings from sale to service, to follow-up. On-site hosting of corporate events including arrival, set-up, and ensuring a high-level guest experience Invoice clients and process payments post event. Assist Marketing team with creating marketing material, documents, packets, and decks.

The Ideal Candidate Possesses...

3-5 years of experience of sales experience within a hospitality setting, or combination of separate sales and hospitality experience. Experience in developing sales strategy and achieving revenue goals. A solid combination of both sales acumen and high-level customer service is required to be successful in this position. Keen eye for detail regarding service standards. Excellent oral and written business communication, as well as interpersonal skills. Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Must have the flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required. Must hold a BC Driver's License and be comfortable driving a company van. Must be legally able to work in Canada.

Compensation:

$50,000 annual salary + commission
