Position Overview PART-TIME TRANSCRIPTION JOB FOR HEBREW-SPEAKING UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT!
START IN JUNE 2023!

  • Are you a Hebrew native speaker?
  • Are you familiar with Moroccan Arabic?
  • Do you have experience transcribing interviews or have fast typing skills?
  • Are you currently enrolled at the University of Calgary or any other Canadian University?
  • Would you like to work part-time on a federally funded research project at the University of Calgary?
I am looking for an undergraduate student to transcribe eight interviews conducted in Hebrew of an average duration of two hours. The interviewees are elderly Mizrahi women, the majority of them Moroccan, who speak about blessings and healing rituals. Compensation?
  • $22/ hour (inclusive of benefits)
  • Flexible hours!
