Vehicle Operation:

Drive and operate heavy-duty wrecker rotator trucks, utilizing the truck's boom and winch to right overturned vehicles and tow various large vehicles.

Recovery and Towing:

Safely recover disabled or wrecked vehicles from accident sites or challenging terrains and transport them to designated locations.

Equipment Inspection:

Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the truck and its recovery equipment (winches, booms, etc.).

Load Securement:

Securely load and tie down vehicles and cargo according to safety regulations to ensure safe transport.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations, maintain a clean driving record, and ensure the safe operation of the specialized equipment.

Maintenance and Repairs:

Perform first-echelon (minor) maintenance and emergency repairs on the tow truck to keep it operational.

Customer Service:

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members, providing prompt and professional customer service.

Documentation:

Record cargo information, hours of service, fuel consumption, and maintain accurate logbooks.

Requirements

Commercial Driver's License:

A valid commercial driver's license AZ is A MUST.

Mechanical Aptitude:

Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform minor repairs are crucial.

Physical Fitness:

Ability to work in demanding conditions, lift heavy objects, and perform physical tasks related to vehicle recovery.

Communication Skills:

Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, dispatchers, and other emergency personnel.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to assess situations quickly, develop recovery strategies, and handle stressful roadside scenarios safely and efficiently.

Flexibility:

Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and being on-call for emergency calls.

Weather Endurance:

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
