Brown's Industrial is a sales and service dealership specializing in Bobcat and Develon Heavy Equipment. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join our maintenance team. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as a commitment to safety and efficiency

Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid checks. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, transmissions, engines, and drive trains. Use diagnostic tools and software to identify faults and recommend corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies. Collaborate with other mechanics and departments to prioritize and complete work orders. Test repaired equipment for proper performance before returning to service. Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform field repairs when necessary.

Role Requirements:

Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician, or a registered 3rd or 4th year HET apprentice with your own tools Previous experience with repairs and maintenance on Bobcat equipment is considered an asset Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Strong work ethic with ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments. Able to work efficiently and as part of a team as well as independently. Attention to detail in all areas of work. Exceptional organizational, time management and prioritization skills. Strong work ethic and a positive attitude. CVIP license would be an asset. Class 1 or 3 license is an asset but not required Candidate must have a valid Class 5 drivers license and provide a driver's abstract. Candidate must also pass a Drug & Alcohol Test & Physical Demand Analysis.

Pay: $33.63-$53.34 per hour
