Job Description

North West Crane is currently seeking a Heavy Duty Technician Journeyman for our facility.

Responsibilities

Diagnose/troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems Diagnose/troubleshoot and repair electrical systems Reading and interpretation of mechanical and electrical schematics Operate forklift and overhead cranes Using OEM software to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment Ensure cleanliness throughout the shop

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience

3+ years of experience as a Heavy-Duty Technician is required Crane experience is an asset CVIP experience is an asset Must have valid apprenticeship with Alberta and Industry Training or Journeyman Red Seal/ Interprovincial Certification Attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies Strong work ethic Consistent punctuality and reliability Ability to maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally

Safety

Ensure that site safety measures meet or exceed the parameters set out by the Health and Safety manual Promote a positive safety culture with a target for zero incidents Attend daily toolbox meeting
