The Opportunity:

We're hiring an experienced Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) with Red Seal - Off Road to join our team. If you're safety-focused, take pride in quality workmanship, and have a strong background in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty equipment, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Inspect and diagnose equipment for mechanical issues Perform repairs, maintenance, and preventative maintenance on heavy equipment Use technical manuals, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed Ensure safety procedures are followed during repairs and maintenance Maintain a clean and organized work environment Undertake additional tasks as needed to support the role and overall company operations.

Qualifications: Skills, Education, and Experience:

Must be a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) with Red Seal - Off Road Must have minimum 5 years' Journeyperson experience Off Road experience is required Experience with CAT E.T. and S.I.S. and/or Komatsu is required Experience with CAT Scrapers is beneficial Valid driver's license (Class 5 minimum; and clean abstract) Experience working with CAT, Komatsu, John Deere, Hitachi, or similar brands

Special Demands:

Making repetitive motions Bending or twisting the body May involve long hours, on-call rotations, weekends, or shift work depending on operational needs

Schedule:

Home every night 10 hours per day Weekend work Overtime after 40 hours
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $46.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 50 per week

Experience:
