We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician!

The Opportunity

:

Wayver Rentals Inc. located in Fort McMurray, AB, is currently seeking an experienced

Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician

to join our team. We are looking for a team player that is self-motivated, safety conscience, requires minimal supervision and can interact directly with customer.

The Role:

This is a field position with most of the work done outside, year-round and in all weather conditions. The ideal candidate would have a diverse understanding of marine and construction equipment, pumps, generators and heaters. Experience driving in mine and around heavy equipment also an asset.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Follow procedures and safe work practices.

Maintain and repair diverse fleet of construction equipment, boats, barges, generators, light towers, compressors, pumps, heaters, skid steers, telehandlers, AWPs, loaders, excavators, P&V trucks, and UTVs.

Complete and submit required documentation and service reports.

Maintain and stock service vehicle.

Operate independently with attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Portray and promote company in a positive and professional manner.

Required Qualifications:

Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician

2+ Years Industry Experience

Valid Class 5 driver's license

Undergo and successfully pass Drug & Alcohol Test

Ability to operate heavy machinery

Schedule:

7 days on 7 off Day shift

Salary:
