We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with experience working on heavy machinery, industrial equipment, and automotive repair. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery. The Equipment Technician will play a vital role in ensuring operational efficiency and safety across our facilities. Candidates with dealership experience, HVAC knowledge, or welding skills will be highly valued. Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment such as trucks, trailer, van Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electrical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they lead to equipment failure Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools to repair or replace parts Operate heavy machinery safely during repairs or testing procedures Read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical diagrams for accurate repairs Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed Assist in assembly or installation of new equipment as needed Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies

Qualifications

Proven experience working with heavy equipment such as trucks, trailers, van, is a plus Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair or industrial equipment maintenance Familiarity with electrical systems and schematics related to machinery repair Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance devices safely Experience with HVAC systems or farm machinery is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment when necessary Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards Customer service skills are preferred for interactions with internal teams or clients when needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
