We are seeking a skilled Equipment Technician to join our team, responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of heavy machinery and industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various types of machinery, including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery. Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics and diagnostic tools Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before breakdowns occur Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools to repair or assemble machinery Operate heavy equipment for testing or repair purposes when necessary Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment during all maintenance activities Document maintenance activities and repairs accurately in company records Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete projects efficiently Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades as needed

Skills

Proven experience with dealership service or industrial equipment repair is highly desirable Strong mechanical knowledge Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting electrical issues on industrial machinery Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Strong customer service skills when interacting with clients or internal teams
