As a Heavy Equipment Service Planner, you will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating service and maintenance activities, optimizing equipment uptime, and managing resources effectively. This role requires strong organizational skills, technical knowledge, and a commitment to safety.
What you're responsible for:
Ensuring resources are in place to perform the planned work (Parts, Labour, shop space etc.)
Developing and communicating the Weekly Maintenance plan and creating work orders as required
Ensuring open work orders meet required standard, and status is kept up to date; Manages Work order backlog
Maintaining maintenance records with current Service and PM status
Preparing job plans for planned work
Coordinate with service technicians and mechanics to ensure timely servicing and repairs.
Prioritize equipment service based on usage, condition, and criticality.
Organizing resources in advance to ensure efficient execution of planned work
Completing adhoc reports and projects as requested
Qualifications
To join our team:
You have previous experience in an admin role creating PO's
You have 2 years experience relating to fleet maintenance
You have thorough knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures
You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
You have detailed working knowledge of planning tools (MS Office Package, etc)
* You have detailed working knowledge of scheduling tools
