We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating heavy machinery and a strong understanding of construction and mechanical principles. This role is critical in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of various equipment on-site, contributing to the successful completion of projects.
Our winter work is already kicking off for 2025/2026 season. We specialize in building winter roads to remote plant and well sites. Any winter work experience will be valued. We are searching for an experienced, knowledgeable individual that we can count on and, that can work under direction and drives to excel.
if you're familiar with winter oilfield work, you know your schedule must be flexible. This means being ready to work when the demand is there, and happy to sit when the job is done.
If you have a service truck with fuel tank, you will be paid for it daily.
Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, excavators, and skid steer
Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery as needed.
Collaborate with team members to execute construction tasks effectively.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and any maintenance performed.
Assist in loading and unloading materials as required.
Skills
Proficient in operating dozers, loaders, excavators, and skid steers.
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Experience in commercial driving is a plus. A Class 3 or high will be valued.
Familiarity with farm machinery operations is advantageous.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration.
