Metro Contracting Ltd. is an excavation & demolition company operating around the Lower Mainland. We are looking for a
skilled Heavy Equipment Operator
who is capable of operating
multiple types of equipment
to join our growing excavation and demolition team.
Requirements:
Proven experience operating
excavators
, with the ability to also operate
dozers, compactors, and other earthworks equipment
Strong experience in
demolition and excavation
work
Ability to work safely and efficiently on active jobsites
Skilled operator with good awareness around structures, services, and ground crew
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform
demolition, excavation, and site prep
work safely and productively
Operate multiple pieces of heavy equipment as required by the job
Complete
daily pre-trip inspections
Keep equipment
greased, clean, and well maintained
Follow all safety procedures and site-specific requirements
Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew
