Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy machinery and a strong mechanical knowledge. This role involves the safe and efficient operation of various types of equipment,

including Loaders, Excavators, Skid steers

, to support construction and agricultural projects. The Equipment Operator will be responsible for ensuring that all machinery is maintained in good working order while adhering to safety protocols.

This job position is for machinery landscaping throughout the summer months and snow removal in winter.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, skid steers, and farm machinery for various construction and agricultural tasks. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Execute digging, grading, and building tasks as directed by project supervisors.

Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while operating machinery on-site. Report any mechanical issues or concerns to management promptly. Maintain a clean and organized work area around the equipment.

Requirements

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation is required. Familiarity with farm machinery operations is a plus. Experience with Caterpillar equipment is required. Valid commercial driving license is required Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues with machinery. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. Commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment. Driver license class AR/D/DZ is PREFERRED
