Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating various types of heavy machinery, including loaders, dozers, graders, and excavators. This role is essential for ensuring that construction projects are completed efficiently and safely while adhering to all operational guidelines.

Duties

Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, dozers, graders, and excavators to perform various construction tasks. Execute operations with precision and attention to detail. Conduct routine walkarounds on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Follow safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment.. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and project progress. Operate on steep slopes (up to ~26 or ~45%) Operate in industrial or remote settings (mining, construction, forestry, etc.) Maintain company quality and production standards Follow supervisor direction to achieve production goals

Qualifications

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with dozers and excavators. Experience on D10/D11 or equivalent sized machines Experience on 5-90T excavators Valid class 5 drivers license. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Commitment to safety standards and practices on the job site. Civil construction, open pit mining, or forestry experience considered an asset GPS equipment experience considered an asset Capabilities to pass a drug test Fit for duty (must be able to perform light manual labour such as lifting or repetitive tasks)
