is currently looking for an

Equipment Operator

to join the team. This position is responsible for safely operating and maintaining heavy equipment on remediation projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times; Operate a variety of equipment, including: Loader, excavators, skid-steers, backhoes and forklifts; Operate pumps for water treatment systems; Maintain equipment through preventative maintenance; Timely and accurate completion of all required paperwork.

QUALIFICATIONS

Heavy Equipment Operator Certification an asset; 1-3 years previous heavy equipment operating experience; Class 5 license required; Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment; Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended periods of time; Ability to travel for out of town projects; Ability to lift 50lbs regularly throughout the day.
