Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of heavy machinery, including , bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, and loaders. This role is essential for ensuring that construction and excavation projects are completed efficiently and safely. The Equipment Operator will work closely with other team members to build and maintain structures while adhering to safety regulations and operational guidelines.

Duties

Operate heavy equipment such as, bulldozers, excavators, and loaders to perform various tasks including digging, moving materials, and grading surfaces. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Collaborate with construction teams to understand project requirements and execute tasks accordingly. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on-site. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and project progress. Assist in the training of new operators as needed to promote a safe working environment.

Experience

3-5 years of proven experience in heavy equipment operation is required. Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment issues effectively. Experience in commercial driving may be beneficial for transporting equipment when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
