Heavy Equipment Operator

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you'll play a crucial role in our operations by unloading, loading, and processing metal materials at our facility. This is a

Permanent, Full-Time

Position, Monday to Friday 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with scheduled overtime. For the duration of training, the shift schedule is Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Position Overview:

The Heavy Equipment Operator requires the ability to operate a variety of equipment ranging from small to large with a safety-first mindset.


Operating heavy equipment such as a material handlers and/or various-sized excavators Operating skid-steer and large stationary equipment specific to our industry Conduct pre-operational safety inspections and participate in our safety program Perform routine maintenance on equipment

Qualifications:

Preference will be given to those with experience operating various sized excavators Mechanical ability to perform general maintenance
