Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating various types of heavy machinery and a strong understanding of construction and snow clearing processes. This role is critical in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, tandem tandem trucks to complete construction tasks and snow clearing season. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery to maintain optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to execute snow clearing sites effectively and efficiently. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel. Assist in site preparation, grading, and other construction activities as required. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.

Requirements

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is preferred. Experience with farm machinery is a plus. Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site environments. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting. Commitment to safety practices and procedures in all aspects of work.
