Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment, ensuring that all operations are conducted safely and efficiently. This role is crucial for maintaining productivity on-site while adhering to safety regulations and operational standards.

Duties

Operate heavy equipment including loaders, backhoes, cranes, and bulldozers for various construction and civil tasks. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety. Collaborate with team members to execute projects effectively, following plans and specifications. Transport materials and equipment as needed across job sites, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed. Assist in building structures or performing earth-moving activities as required by project specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines to minimize hazards.

Requirements

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with loaders, Caterpillar machinery, backhoes, cranes, and bulldozers. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors. Physical stamina to operate machinery for extended periods while performing manual labor tasks when necessary.

Pay: Up to $58.00 per hour
