Job Description
Phillips Bros Excavating
, a family owned and operated company, has been proudly serving the construction industry for over 27 years. We are seeking a heavy equipment operator to operate a wide variety of equipment within our company.Key Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, graders, and skid steers.
Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks.
Ensure safe machine operation and maintain awareness of surroundings and personnel.
Report on mechanical issues and assist with minor repairs as needed.
Work collaboratively with other crew members and supervisors.
Follow all company safety guidelines and protocols.
Requirements:
Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting.
Valid driver's license
Strong understanding of safety procedures and machinery operation.
GPS controlled equipment experience would be considered an asset.
