Key Duties:

Complete jobs using a variety of tools and equipment safely and effectively Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order and complete minor maintenance as required Load, unload and transport construction materials Manual labour including but not limited to shoveling, hand digging, raking Proficient fine/finish grading Measure distances from reference points to locate the boundaries of site Understand the issues involving ground disturbance and able to work in and implement safe work practices and contribute to a safe work environment Participate in safety meetings and form completion on a regular basis Clean and pile salvaged materials Bulk and detailed excavations Able to read and understand blueprints and detail sections to determine and set grades

Requirements

5000+ hours of excavator, front loader and skid steer operation Clean Driver's Abstract Must meet a minimum of 2 out of 3 of the following criteria: + Experience Running Large Equipment (2500+ Hours)
+ Fluent with all Small Equipment (2500+ Hours)
Trades education an asset Skid Steer Loader Operator Certification an asset Excavator Certification an asset First Aid Certification an asset Heavy Trailer Endorsement (Learners)

Compensation Package:

Hourly wage of $36-$42/hour based on experience + Overtime available
4% Vacation Pay, paid out on every cheque Extended Health Benefits (copay) RRSP Matching Profit Sharing Program
