Job Description
Flights to/from Calgary or Edmonton or busing out of Fort McMurray is provided in addition to camp accommodation.
What would you be doing?
- Operating a Haul Truck, Excavator, Dozer or Grader in an open pit mine and/or surrounding area.
- Operating assigned heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Understanding and adhering to all policies, procedures and standards.
- Participating in all safety and culture building programs.
- Training on new equipment when requested.
- Valid driver's license with 3 year drivers abstract required.
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- Minimum 1500 hours experience on a 773+ haul truck
- Minimum of 1500 hours on the following support equipment(any combination or individual piece is acceptable:
- Dozer (D6+)
- Excavator (250T+)
- Loader
- Grader
- Ability to do labour and ground work if required
- Competitive Pay based on the work you do here
- Benefits after 300 hours
- 7/7 schedule, 12 hrs/day
This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing, audiogram, and maskfit. You will be required to complete 400 hours of training on a 980 Haul Truck prior to going on any other piece of equipment.
