We are looking for
HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATORS - GPS GRADER
to join our team and build the Springbank Off-Stream Reservoir, 15km west of Calgary. The Springbank Off-Stream Reservoir will provide flood protection along the Elbow River in Calgary and other downstream communities.

Role & Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities
Maintain heavy equipment in good operating condition, reporting, and logging maintenance requirements or concerns
Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures
Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
Requirements & Preferred Experience:
3-5 years of experience working with GPS (Trimble or Top-Con) is required
Previous experience in road construction, subgrade preparation and laying gravel base course is required
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract
Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives
