Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment on construction sites. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all operations are conducted safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, graders, and rock trucks. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Safely transport materials using dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and front loader trucks. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities. Follow all safety regulations and guidelines to minimize risks on the job site.

Qualifications

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation with a focus on construction machinery. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment. Valid G driving license is required; valid AZ or DZ is preferred Familiarity with various types of heavy machinery including Caterpillar models is advantageous. Surface Mining Common Core is an asset. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
