We are seeking an experienced, skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our industrial plant site maintenance team.
Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, loaders, backhoes with precision and safety.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries on site.
Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment use and project timelines.
Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic repairs or report problems to maintenance personnel.
Must be available to work overtime hours for snow removal.
Qualifications
Proven experience operating heavy equipment.
Mechanical knowledge is an asset.
Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
Safety minded.
Must have own vehicle - no public transportation to site.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy loads when necessary.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
