Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation Operate heavy equipment Read blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements Use International Organization for Standardization (ISO) pattern joystick controls Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks Operate computer controlled equipment Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment Secure special attachments to equipment Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment Perform minor repairs to equipment
