Heavy Equipment Operator

As a heavy equipment operator, you'll be spending most of your time working with a variety of heavy machinery, primarily excavators but also including bulldozers, loaders, skidsteers and rollers, while making sure that the machines are in good working order. There will be many different tasks from day to day, so we need someone who's competent and willing to learn new skills. We also want someone who can work independently and can take initiative when there are unexpected challenges.

We take health and safety very seriously, and we expect all our employees to prioritize a safe work environment. We provide additional training to make sure everyone stays safe. We work hard to maintain our COR designation.

We focus on people and process, and we seek out challenging, multi-disciplinary projects. This is where we find success. Success means a win for all people involved in the project, and winning is what we do. We're not afraid to celebrate our success: we have a great team, and we like to reward them with parties, bonuses, and fun events for all their hard work.

The Details

This is a full-time position, with a starting hourly rate of $32-$40/hour, based on ability and experience. That's not all; we offer benefits and group RSP options after a waiting period, paid emergency days, paid overtime, and more!
