Overview

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating various types of heavy machinery and a strong understanding of construction processes. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of equipment on job sites, contributing to the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and Skid Steers to perform various tasks on construction sites. Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery to maintain optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to execute project plans effectively and safely. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities. Assist in the transportation of materials and equipment as needed.

Experience

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and skid steers. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on machinery. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is preferred. Experience in construction or under ground utilities, operation is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while adhering to safety standards. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
