We're Hiring: Heavy Equipment Operator
Join the Excavation Team at Alternative Group
Passionate about operating heavy machinery? We're looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our excavation division. You'll work on sewer and water installs, lot clearing, demolition, site prep, and backfill--always with a focus on safety, precision, and quality.
What You'll Do:
Operate excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and trenchers Perform excavation, grading, trenching, and backfilling Conduct daily inspections and routine maintenance Follow safety policies and site protocols Work with supervisors and crew to complete projects efficiently
What We're Looking For:
2+ years of heavy equipment operating experience Proficiency with multiple types of machinery Strong knowledge of safety standards and excavation processes Ability to read blueprints and site plans Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills Safety, Heavy Equipment, or First Aid certifications (assets)
