Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating various types of heavy machinery and possess a strong mechanical knowledge. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of equipment on construction sites, farms, or other industrial settings. The Equipment Operator will be responsible for handling machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and caterpillar equipment.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and cranes safely and efficiently. Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment on-site. Collaborate with team members to complete construction projects or agricultural tasks effectively. Transport equipment to various job sites as needed, demonstrating proficiency in commercial driving. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise and perform minor repairs when necessary.

Qualifications

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation with a focus on dozer, loader, backhoe, excavator, crane, and caterpillar machinery. Strong mechanical knowledge to identify issues and perform basic repairs on equipment. Familiarity with construction processes or farm machinery operations is preferred. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site environments. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team setting. A commitment to safety practices and protocols in all aspects of work. Pay: $20.09-$25.00 per hour
