Job Description

L82 Construction Ltd. is a heavy civil construction company in London and Area, specializing in the installation of sewers, water mains and road works.
We are currently looking for a full-time experienced heavy equipment mechanic to Join our team in London Ontario.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair/rebuild, maintain and service various types of heavy construction equipment within established standards.
Ability to complete repairs/servicing within established guidelines in a busy, fast-paced environment without compromising safety or quality.
Inspect equipment to detect faults/malfunctions
Diagnose equipment using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repairs required
Perform scheduled maintenance service on our rental fleet equipment
Hydraulic / Electrical experience

Qualifications and Skills:

Heavy Equipment Mechanic/Technician
Mechanical background looking to get into heavy equipment apprenticeship.
Valid Driver's License
High Degree of Mechanical Aptitude
Previous heavy equipment or farm equipment repair is an asset.
Familiarity with CAT SIS program is an asset.
Self starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
